Blaze(r) up #ErtsyLookOfTheWeek

The essence of Ertsy Fashion is in creating timeless individualistic styles. Which is what makes it so important for me to never stop experimenting. Which is how stumbled upon the idea of creating this look when I decided to do a collaboration with my beautiful friend from Netherlands – Ioanna. For my Bloggaversary collaboration gig, we decided to style a jet-black blazer in our personal style. You can check out her version on her blog The Colourful Bouquet here.

And, since I’m so excited upon completing this first year of blogging, I’ve tried to take things up a notch here with this travel in style look set to redefine everything about sporting a Blazer. The ertsy elements of comfortable statement fashion with confidence are also intact in the look. In fact, the joy of the success is in the exciting journey it ensures, which is why the hustle attitude in the look to heat things up. Well, it is all about the blaze(r) anyway! *wink*

The Look:

Oxford Black Blazer, White closed collar top with ruffle sleeves, Slit line wine-red palazzo pants, 6-inch black block- open toe heels.

Make-up: Base make-up, Brown Eye-shadow, Turquoise blue eye-liner, Scarlet Matte Lip Colour.

The look sure does have a valentines vibe to it. However, since at Ertsy it is all about loving yourself, the ensemble is fierce and individualistic in its totality. I am also thankful to my hair for being good to me on the day of the shoot and I could let down natural brunette waves in their might. Since the look is detailed in terms of clothing, I recommend minimum to no jewellery/accessories with it.

The idea was to create a very lounge/party-feel look with an offbeat luxury-style edge to it. However, in the right set up, it does have a vintage feel to it, too.

In all fairness, I’m really happy with the end result which is exemplified in the pictures. I mean, look at that confidence and ease with which the look is carried. This can only be a result of absolute comfort.

Take a valentines vibe but make it better with a fierce and individualistic style, that's Ertsy for you. Travel in style and be your own desire! 1. This outfit accentuates your confidence well. 😇..I have similar kind of pallazos in black and dark grey, but in a different material and without the slits…they are super comfortable! 👍☺
