Spring 2021 is here and we’re still, more or less, stuck at home. However, that doesn’t mean that style has to take a backseat. In fact, personally, styling & fashion is one of those last things that’s keeping me motivated right now. So, with that in mind, what really is spring style 2021 even about? Spring obviously equates to florals, colors, pastels, vibrance, and warmth but what’s different this year is the ‘comfort’ factor. I mean, if I’m really, and I mean, really going to just dress up for myself, might as well be as comfortable as it gets. So, the outfits are all about the oversized fits but with some synching here and there.
Before I get into it though, I hope you’re keeping well & safe. And while I’m in a much better position than most people, life does get hard. And I’ve learned that it’s ok to prioritize yourself when you need to and remember to take a step back as & when you need to.
My life is all about work from home 5 days a week where I drown myself in continuous video calling followed by a relaxing weekend where I recover from the grind. During the weekend, I take at least one day to fully dress up and get into that weekend glam. This gives me something to look forward to every weekend even after dressing up all I do is go out to shop for groceries.
With that in mind, let’s divide the Spring Style 2021 wardrobe into two parts video-call statement & weekend comfort glam. I have partnered with Shein for their conscious & premium styles for all the items in the outfits below. You can shop directly by clicking on the links. Spring Style 2021:Video Call Statement
If we’re going to stay stuck inside and play dress-up with spring style 2021, let’s think about adding the glam factor to your video calls. Pay extra attention to above the bust area- flouncy sleeves, jewelry, interesting necklines, and splashy colors- everything is now more important. The plus side- loose pants, mom jeans, and even trendy, colorful sweatpants.
Nothing says chic like a printed flounce blouse. It’s timeless yet very trendy when worn in the right tint of spring. I styled it with a denim crop-top for that extra edge. Remember, layering is all the rage right now it’ll always make you stand out on that screen. For bottoms, I went for the super comfy yet flattering mom jeans to complete the look.
Bonus Protip: If you want to make this outfit even trendier, switch out the mom jeans for a Button Detail Pinafore Dress.
The lime color is all that this season is about, right there with purple/lavender. This outfit is for that upstreet video-call look where you can look office-casual with a denim jacket and outstanding laid-back with just the blouse – all at once.
Whether you’re going to make a quick run to the office or just are feeling too lazy to do a multi-piece dressing-up, this two-tone dress is the perfect one to wear. I love it for the vest style that is a trending rage right now. I usually wear it with biker shorts or leggings. And I also love how formal looking but relaxing and flattering it is for all body-types.
Spring Style 2021: Weekend Comfort Glam
Lazing around to recover from the grind is my number one priority with spring style 2021. However, that doesn’t mean that I don’t want to find some moments to look & feel good. Or even find some time to meet my 1-2 friends indoors or just do a spontaneous date evening in. So, I call my weekend style – comfort glam. All pieces are multifunctional that can be worn in many ways based on my requirement of the day. Add splashes of color, mix-match the outfits, show some leg- embrace the good vibes!
What’s lazier than finding an elaborate outfit that’s actually a set? This plaid set in purple screams spring and is so effortlessly glamorous. I paired it with a straight leather jacket and it suddenly became a head-turner.

Bous Protip: If you want to make this outfit even trendier, switch out the cami top for this Purple Floral Scalloped Lace Teddy Bodysuit; wear it over a T-shirt if you’re feeling shy!
This cat hoodie is actually a dress that doubles as a sweatshirt. So, you basically add the skirt to it when stepping out for that grocery run. The skirt itself is so trendy and adorable and I am so excited to style it in other ways too. I wore this with a bob hat and I loved every second of it on my walk around the neighborhood.
Well, that’s my first blog for Spring 2021. Which look did you like the most? Which one are you most excited to try? Is there something else you’d like me to try next? Leave it all in the comments below.
