Hey Ertsy People! Your favourite fashion and style blog is back with its another classy take at a conventional style. This week, we have styled one of our ertsy favourites – Kriti Goyal, who has also been featured in another trendy look with us recently.
Before we go any further, if you go by the definition- a Gypsy is a member of a travelling people with dark skin and hair, traditionally living by itinerant trade and fortune telling. Gypsies speak a language (Romany) that is related to Hindi and are believed to have originated in South Asia.
When I came across this definition of what a Gypsy is, I was absolutely thrilled. To know that a fashion that originated in South Asia and hits so close to home is basically taking the whole world by storm absolutely amazed me. Now, to add some class to it, it was only imperative that we brought it back home. And, so we did.
The ensemble look here aims to bring together classy and gypsy and gift it to you in a package. We have a print over combination with a crop top and a shirt that has been tied at the back; a pair of sleek cut palazzo pants and a lot of retro, boho and gypsy bits to enhance the look. You will even find a lot of intricate make-up and hair-styling in this look. So, behold!
The Look:
We started with a print over print style when designing the look. A crop top with a shirt tied at the back looked more stunning than we thought it could! A choker was added to give it some finishing.
The tie-back was bringing the sexy back, really! And those earrings! Absolutely gypsy yet classy!
For we had used a great deal of print on top already, it was the best idea to go with a plain white sleek-cut palazzo to balance the look in the most chic manner.
And a pair of kitten heels did everything to make it better!
The complete look turned out to be like this and DAMN was it fine!
Oh yes! About the make-up. We went bold and yet managed to keep it very classy. There were bits of three-layer eye-shadow with one bold colour, some eye-liner, a subtly shade to highlight the pout and a little bit of face-highlighter to bring out those chiseled cheek bones!
The hair-style spotted is an on-fleak braid-bun!
And then, we added the nuances! Classy and chic-y…
The retro glasses and the darker lip-shades, too!
And I dare you that this model and the style is not FINE! *wink* Kisses to ya’all till next time. Stay Ertsy. xx
